'FINALLY, My quarantine transformation journey! It was about time I shared my fitness journey with you guys~ The last 6 months have been…unbelievably amazing. In the beginning of April 2020, I began my fitness journey at the weight of 132lbs and completely lost. I had always been an active person, but I was completely fueling my body with the wrong types of food in the wrong way. Upon entering my fitness journey, I would eat decently healthy, but restrict myself too much, didn’t really drink water, then go overboard with the snacking. I also indulged in late night snacking a little too much (no regrets though looking back at it). Overall, I haven’t figured out how my body worked. But as I obtained more and more valuable information from past mistakes and other fitness related sources, I began to discover the truth behind healthy eating and healthy living. I gradually changed my eating habits from eating nothing and over snacking to eating plenty and feeling healthy. It’s key to remember that finding a healthy balance in life takes time; be patient and trust the process. If you are putting the work, you will see results!   Also, I live by the 80/20 rule, which has helped me maintain my healthy lifestyle. Being healthy 80% of the time is enough. You won’t get fat after a day of eating unhealthy foods; you won’t lose your results from eating a bar of chocolate. Live life in moderation and you’ll find healthy living to be very sustainable. If you follow me on instagram or have watched my other videos, you’d see that I let myself enjoy the foods I like! Life is all about balance so find what works for you, it is very worth it.
